It’s important to know the first signs of diabetes for early diabetes control and management. However, diabetes can be easy to miss because of its symptoms that are hard to detect. The symptoms develop so gradually that you think they’re just ordinary symptoms, until you get diagnosed with diabetes. Here are some of the red flags.
1) Increased Thirst
A sudden increase in thirst can be a symptom of almost anything. From diarrhea, to the common cold, to allergies, and to anything that causes fever. It’s not always an indication of diabetes, but excessive thirst is one of the first symptoms of it. A good thing to do when you experience excessive thirst is to check whether your blood sugar level is too high.
